hardison/downey/kitchell was formed in 2006 as a joint venture between hardison/downey construction, inc. and Kitchell Contractors with the focus on offering an alternative for clients who need the expertise and financial stability of a large general contractor, but want the personal service, attention and cost of a small one.  The vision was to create a new company that would combine the strengths and best practices of both hardison/downey and Kitchell, and then to focus that company’s efforts on the student housing, multi-family and hospitality markets.
